Residential Technician
Lelch Audio Video is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low voltage systems in residential settings, including home theater systems, whole-house audio, security systems, networking, and smart home automation. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining an excellent customer service experience and ensuring that installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
- Responsibilities:
– Install and configure low voltage systems in residential settings, including home theater systems, whole-house audio, security systems, networking, and smart home automation.
– Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems, including identifying and resolving electrical, network, and audio/video issues.
- – Ensure that all installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
- – Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations on the best low voltage systems to meet those needs.
- – Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure that we are offering our clients the most advanced and effective low voltage solutions for residential spaces.
- – Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls in our CRM system.
- – Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- – Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- – High school diploma or equivalent.
- – Minimum of 2 years of experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems in residential settings, including home theater systems, whole-house audio, security systems, networking, and smart home automation.
- – Knowledge of low voltage wiring and installation techniques.
- – Familiarity with audio/video equipment, including receivers, amplifiers, speakers, and projectors.
- – Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.
- – Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- – Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- – Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- – Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
